Photo Size: no smaller than wallet size, please, and no larger than 8" x 10" in size.

Photo Usage: It is the customer's responsibility to obtain permission for or rights to use of any professionally copyrighted photographs.

Will my photo be returned?
Photos sent via postal mail will be returned along with your new jewelry piece. If sending by postal mail, please send with a piece of card stock or cardboard to prevent damage. Note: We will not be held responsible for any damage to photos sent in the mail.

Is there a charge to convert a color photo to Black and White or Vintage Sepia-tone?
No, no extra charge. Keep in mind that some pictures with a busy background or a lot of dark colors do not look good converted to black and white. Simple pictures with light back grounds work best and provide the most contrast especially when converting to B&W. (Black hair on a royal blue background doesn't!!)

If I don't specify, how close do you crop and what coloring do you choose?
Unless other instructions are sent WITH your emailed or postal mailed photos, we assume you want your photos cropped close to the face (with most hair showing) and converted to classic black and white (if single sided charm). We assume black and white on one side and full color on the other, if you select a double sided charm and send in only one picture.

If I choose a double-sided charm, can I use a different picture on each side?
Yes. Please indicate Black and White, full-color or sepia tone for each picture. There is a small marking on one side of each double-sided charm that says ".925" (the stamping for sterling silver). Click here to see View B. It is not readable without a magnifying glass, but it's there! Please indicate which photo should be on this side. If you do not specify, we will place the full-colored photo on that side.

Can I order "Just" a charm?
Charms are only available with a great sterling silver jewelry piece from 'The Sterling Keepsakes Collection'.

Can I order additional charms?
Yes. Additional charms may be ordered as an add-on to any order for $19.99 per additional single-sided charm and $29.99 for an additional double-sided charm.

Do you edit pictures?
No, your photos are considered your favorite works of art! We do not edit but we do reduce and crop copies close to the face (including most hair) unless otherwise specified.

How are the photos sealed?
Photos are sealed with a hand applied clear, glass-like, acid-free sealant that won't crack, break, chip or peel. It protects the photo from harmful damage of the sun's UV rays and will not yellow the photos over time. It truly heirlooms your precious pictures so that your photo charm jewelry will last a lifetime so they can be passed down to loved ones thru the generations.

How long will it take for my order to be processed?
We will either email you or call you upon receipt of your pictures to let you know they have been received and when you can expect your finished heirloom jewelry piece(s). They usually ship within 10 Business days of receipt of your photo(s)! Please provide your daytime phone number so we can reach you if there is a reason to.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Checks or money orders are accepted as well as Paypal. Make checks payable to 'The Sterling Keepsakes Collection', 9011 Tarawynd Court, Odessa FL 33556. Please do not send cash! All payments must be in U.S. Dollars.

What is the charge for Shipping and Insurance?
$4.95 shipping and handling per shipment (not per piece) within the Continental U.S. or Canada via U.S. Postal Service with tracking feature.

Can I return my custom photo charm jewelry?
We double check each piece before shipping, but should you find a defect in your necklace bracelet or accessory, we will happily exchange it - providing you notify us within 2 weeks of receipt to request a Return Authorization number. Because photo charms are custom, we do not issue refunds.

How do I make a special request for cropping a photo or swapping a charm?
Just email customerservice@sterling-keepsakes.com with ANY special requests and be sure to include your order number. You can either describe to us or use "Post-it notes" to "frame" a picture to show us how you want it cropped. You can call us, too, at (813) 843-7961.
