Special Coating
A clear, glass-like sealant is hand-applied over the photos. The sealant will not break, chip, crack or peel and protects your photos from moisture damage and the sun's harmful UV rays. It makes your new photo jewelry truly "heirloom" quality so that it can be passed down to the next generation after a lifetime of loving wear by the original owner.
Sterling Silver Photo Charms
All charms are .925 Sterling Silver. The large oval, circle, rectangle and square charms are double-sided allowing for a photo on each side. We assume you will use the same photo for black and white on one side, and full color on the other. Or you can send two totally different pictures with instructions as to your color preferences. The single-sided oval charm has a solid sterling silver back, perfect for engraving (elsewhere). The large oval, circle, rectangle and square have a small etching on one side. It isn't readable without a magnifying glass but it says ".925" (the symbol for Sterling Silver ) and the same in Chinese characters. Choose Your Favorite Chain To Complete Your Photo Charm Necklace
All photo charms are Only available as an add on to your favorite Sterling Keepsakes necklace. The classic box, heavy box, rope, and bead ball chains are 18 inches in length but also available in 16 inches if you prefer. Just let us know! The long cable chain is cut to your specification (up to 20 inches at no additional charge) and is a favorite of ladies who have long nails or otherwise have difficulty with traditional clasps. The lovely 4.5mm Swarovski glass pearls are hand strung (up to 20 inches at no additional charge) and have a French hook closure. If you do not specify desired length for long cable chain or pearls, we assume 18 inches is desired. A "choker length" is suggested for best presentation, but choose what will go with your favorite necklines as you will want to wear your new photo charm necklace every day!!!
